Vanilla Experience
One of the main reasons this SMP originally began was to create a public community that wasn't cluttered with pay-to-win factors and tons of annoying plugins.
There is no economy, claims, or flashy plugins here. Only essential additions like homes, tpa, and a few functional shops at spawn.
Long-term Uptime
Tired of SMPs that close after a month or so? Since we discontinued seasons, your progress won't be randomly interrupted by a closure and you can expect a consistent high-performance server.
With this in mind, it should be noted we are still a growing community and consistent peak activity shouldn't always be expected.
Bedrock Integration
If we're being honest, most bedrock servers suck. So we offer completely stable crossplay for any bedrock device to connect and play on our SMP!
Whether you play on mobile, console, switch or other devices, you're always welcome here. Note that alts aren't allowed however.
A little history
Sleepy SMP previously had 4 seasons before being discontinued for about 6 months between 2022-2023. At one point, a single season peaked around 1,000 members and lasted for about a year. Although in the end we converted to separate modded servers trying to do something "different," until ultimately realizing it'd be best to reunite the community and bring back a beloved, laid-back vanilla server that seems to be so hard to find nowadays.
So, we returned, renewed and revamped the server after demand from our old playerbase and a merger of several communities once involved in Sleepy to bring you... this! Now, don't worry if you're brand new to our community - you don't need any prior knowledge to get involved.
Since we're still relatively new, we're always looking to expand our playerbase. That's where you come in... so what are you waiting for? Who knows, maybe you'll change the course of the SMPs history! Or maybe you'll just build and chill. Here, you do you with few limitations.
